Field Support Officer (gn)

Germany | On-site Dresden

The Field Support Officer will be working in EUAA’s operational environment at BAMF’s premises in Dresden. He/she will be responsible for the following tasks, under the coordination and supervision of the EUAA:

Your Tasks:

• Support in the supervision and coordination of Supervise and coordinate teams at various BAMF local offices authority locations to ensure timely implementation of activities and achievement of agreed deliverables

• Ensure clear information and communication flows between field teams and central coordination units

• Collect, analyse and summarise team data to prepare regular implementation status reports

• Maintain and manage contacts with local stakeholders; ensure effective information exchange between central office and teams on site

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational tools and prepare statistics, templates and briefings as needed

• Provide administrative and operational support for the coordination of team activities

• Support registration and lodging of asylum applications in accordance with applicable procedures and working instructions

• Perform any other duties required in the interest of the service

Your Profile:

• University degree (minimum three years) in Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science or a related field

• At least one year of relevant professional experience in comparable tasks

• Ideally: knowledge of asylum and migration legislation and experience in institutional or public-sector environments

• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Very good German and good English skills

• Willingness to travel within Germany; valid driving license (car) required

• Willingness to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SUG)

• Independent working style, resilience, accuracy, and strong communication and coordination skills
