Grafton offers you an exciting career opportunity as a Junior HSE Coordinator (gn) with our client from the industrial plant construction sector, supporting a construction project for a new biodiesel refinery in Hamburg.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of HSE requirements on the construction site
- Conduct regular safety inspections and document identified deviations
- Support compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Assist with safety inductions and toolbox meetings
- Support the recording and documentation of incidents, near misses and safety observations
- Work closely with site management, the project team, contractors and other stakeholders
- Maintain HSE documentation, checklists and reports
- Follow up on agreed corrective and preventive safety measures
- Contribute to safe working practices throughout construction and installation activities
Your profile:
- Interest in health, safety and environmental topics within a construction environment
- Willingness to work primarily on site
- Confident communication skills and the ability to communicate safety requirements clearly
- Structured, reliable and detail-oriented working style
- Good English skills for daily communication within an international project environment
What we offer:
- An attractive salary of up to €60,000 gross per year
- Direct employment with our client
- Fixed-term employment until May 2027 with the possibility of an extension
- The opportunity to contribute to a major industrial construction project in the biodiesel sector
- An on-site position with direct involvement in day-to-day construction activities
