The Operations Assistant (gn) - Finance and Contracts - Interim Support will be working in in close cooperation with the Admin Team supporting German Operations in Nuremberg and will be responsible for the following tasks under the supervision of the EUAA:

Tasks:

  • Provide general administrative support to the assigned teams and assist with administrative, financial, and procurement tasks
  • Help process all financial transactions (commitments, payments, procurement orders, missions, reimbursements) and other related financial processes
  • Screen and file emails and correspondence, draft documents, templates, minutes, and reports, and maintain internal tools and databases
  • Keep files and records, archive financial and admin documentation, and verify transactions
  • Support the Admin and Finance teams with general administrative management
  • Provide logistics and administrative help for meetings, events, conferences, travel, and accommodation
  • Assist with arranging advertisements and support processing applications, organizing selection interviews and assessments as needed
  • Help process and review applications
  • Assist with onboarding and induction training for personnel in the Country Operational Offices

Preferred qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education (completed studies or apprenticeship) evidenced by a diploma or equivalent credential, or secondary education with a diploma either in Political Science, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration and/or other relevant fields
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial environment
  • Previous experience within an institutional and intercultural environment would be considered an asset
  • Willingness to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SÜG)
  • Very good German language skills (at least a C1-level-equivalent) and good English language skills (at least a B2-level-equivalent)
  • Computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), internet use, and web-based applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize

What to expect:

  • Attractive average monthly gross salary of €3,961.92 (depending on hours worked on the assignment)
