Grafton offers you an exciting career opportunity as an HSE LOTO Coordinator (all genders) with our client, a company involved in Oil & Gas infrastructure projects. The position is on-site in Hamburg-Harburg, at the port. It is a full-time, fixed-term role until the end of the project, with a 40-hour working week.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate energy isolation and LOTO activities during construction, testing, commissioning and energization.
- Work with PTW systems, Electrical Isolation Certificates and LOTO registers, as well as group lockboxes and personal locks
- Coordinate shift handovers and controlled de-isolation
- Review electrical documents, including single-line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules and equipment layouts, to identify isolation points, alternative supplies and potential backfeeds
- Verify zero-energy conditions, including safe isolation, proving the absence of voltage, stored-energy control and earthing
- Confirm readiness for re-energization
- Coordinate multiple contractors and disciplines and support handovers from construction to commissioning
- Monitor changes in equipment and system status
Your profile
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in electrical construction, commissioning, maintenance or operations
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and coordinating energy isolation and LOTO activities
- Experience with electrical substation projects and equipment such as HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, protection systems, batteries, UPS systems, temporary supplies and earthing arrangements
- Practical experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning and energization
- Experience with PTW systems, isolation certificates, LOTO registers and controlled de-isolation
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings and coordinating multiple contractors and disciplines
What we offer
- Gross annual salary of €48,000-€58,000
- Fixed-term position until the end of the project, expected to last approximately 12-15 months
- Full-time position with a 40-hour working week
- On-site work in Hamburg-Harburg, at the port
