We are looking for a highly skilled SAP HCM Consultant with hands-on experience in Payroll configuration and implementation for Germany and Austria. The successful applicant will have a key role in delivering HR technology solutions that meet statutory requirements and optimize payroll processes for our clients.
These are your responsibilities
• Configure, implement, and support SAP HCM Payroll (PY-DE and PY-AT) in compliance with German and Austrian legal requirements.
• Lead or assist in end-to-end payroll implementations for German and Austrian entities.
• Conduct system testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve functional issues.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyse gaps, and design scalable solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with related modules (PA, OM, Time Management).
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.
• Prepare documentation such as functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
Your Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in SAP HCM, focused on German and/or Austrian Payroll configuration.
• Strong understanding of statutory regulations for Germany and Austria (tax, social insurance, collective agreements).
• Proven experience in full-cycle implementations: blueprinting, customizing, and go-live support.
• Working knowledge of integration with PA, OM, and Time Management modules.
• Ability to write functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
